The Mandalay

Guarantees

It is required that The Mandalay be notified of the exact number of attendees by 12 noon four business days prior to the event. If no guarantee is given, the original estimate of quests will be considered the guarantee for which you will be charged.

Service Charge

There will be a 22% service fee and 7.25% state tax added to your invoice for all food and beverage items. Any exemptions of taxes will only be issued with a copy of a blanket certificate of exemption. Additional set-up fees will apply to all parties under 50 persons.

Room Assignments
(for functions held on Mandalay premises)

Room assignments are made according to expected attendance and based on available space at the time of your reservation. The Mandalay reserves the right to change your room assignment based on fluctuations in your guarantee or to accommodate multiple reservations.

Room set-ups involving special equipment needs should be finalized well in advance so arrangements can be made to order said equipment. Notify your account representative of any AV equipment, special staging requests, extra draped tables, pipe & drape requirements and unusually long set-up or event preparations. Every attempt will be made to provide you with adequate time for you to set-up; however, hourly rates will apply for access to your function room after normal business hours.

Deposits, Cancellations & Billing

A deposit is required to confirm your catering/space reservation and make it definite. Without a signed contract and deposit (unless deposit is waived) no reservation is considered definite. The estimated balance is due 4 business days in advance of your event (unless credit application is completed and approved). Any remaining balance is due at the end of each event and can be paid by cash, cashier’s check, certified check or charge card. All deposits are non-refundable and cancellation fees will apply.

Liability

The Mandalay reserves the right to control all private functions. Liability for damage to the premises and/or Mandalay equipment will be charged accordingly. The Mandalay cannot assume responsibility for persons, property or equipment brought into the banquet facility.

Use of Cookies

The LMR Web site use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize LMR pages, or register with LMR site or services, a cookie helps LMR to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same LMR Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the LMR features that you customized.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the LMR services or Web sites you visit.
